| I snapped off the oem oil fitting in the block and then snapped 2 or 3 easy outs off trying to get it out. At this point I was beyond frustrated and left the project for a couple months. Well apparently my father was sick of looking at it in his garage and decided to "help" me out. I had left the last easy out broken off inside the fitting and he turned the fucking block into swiss cheese to get it out thinking it would be easy to put in a helicoil and fix it good as new. Anyways he seems to be willing to pay for his mistake but he keeps insisting that it can be repaired and a new block isn't required. Despite me going over this whole story in detail with Seb, Greg and Kyle and all telling me it's not worth trying to save.
